"I look at the whole picture- mind, body, and soul to identify what it is that is preventing a person from attaining lasting results."
Our unique approach to health and wellness begins with an initial consultation. One of our
team members can help identify best practices to assist clients in their journey toward health
and wellness.
Located in the small town of Angus, Ontario, Natawihowin offers guests a relaxing stay along
the backdrop of the Nottawasaga Conservation area. Backing onto a protected forested area of
the Nottawasaga region, guests can enjoy private yoga sessions, physical therapy, mindfulness,
and meditation. With a Physiotherapy clinic located on premises, guests can receive sessions in
a relaxed setting.
Due to proximity of Natawihowin to many waterfront attractions, guests can enjoy Stand Up
Paddle Boarding with a certified SUP coach. Guests can meet the coach at nearby Kepenfelt
Bay, Wasaga Beach, or the Collingwood waterfront to enjoy private lessons from one of our
certified local coaches. Perhaps mountain biking is more your style. Guests can experience
guided tours through the Bruce County Trail system and enjoy nature and the serenity of the
Bruce Peninsula. If hiking is more your interest, a hike to Hoggs Falls is quite exquisite.
Whatever your need is, our team at Natawihowin can tailor your stay based on your individual
interests and desires.
If clients are unable to stay at Natawihowin, they can book excursions, physical therapy, yoga,

GIVE your mind a break during these stressful times by releasing endorphins naturally. These chemical neurotransmitters are responsible for enhancing your mood, reward and pleasure centers of the brain, relieving pain and improving your quality of life.
Essential oils are primarily used in aromatherapy. Each guest room at Natawihowin will have an oil diffuser with one of three essential oils. Essential oils are extracted from plants and trees as a concentrated form of the substances found in the plant. A guest card explaining each of the natural oils will be provided for information purposes. Some of the main effects of aromatherapy include:
1
Peppermint, Lemon, Spearmint, and Rosemary, can help you feel more present. Diffusing one of these oils when you're studying or working late can give you an extra boost and create a focused, clear environment.
2
Many essential oils have skin soothing properties, which can help reduce the appearance of irritation and promote healthy-looking skin. Many essential oils promote relaxation and support the body's natural processes. From using Frankincense to ease chest discomfort, lavender to soothe skin, and peppermint to boost your mood and drive during workouts.
3
Emotional health can be just as important as physical well-being, and aromatherapy using essential oils is one way many people choose to help uplift themselves during the ups and downs of life. The sense of smell is directly linked to the limbic system responsible for emotions and memory.
Aromatherapy has been shown to be helpful in promoting a more positive outlook, uplifting spirits and providing a natural way to unwind at the end of the day.
As part of the wellness experience, your visit includes an initial consultation to explore the first pillar of health- the mind. Utilizing cognitive behavioural therapy, thought processes that may be inhibiting your full potential are explored. With the assistance of a certified cognitive behavioural therapist, core beliefs and automatic thoughts are identified as the first step to attaining constructive toughts when faced with difficult life situations. Guests will be able to identify recurring thought patterns that have a direct link with your mood, emotions, and behavior. From here, clients can unleash their full potential for healing, health, and wellness.
